一件本來美好的事情，在森林小伙伴們的嘴里傳來傳去，竟傳出了各種搞笑甚至不可思議的版本。今天給大家分享的繪本是由帕特·哈欽斯完成的英文繪本《The surprise party》

"I'm having a party tomorrow," whispered Rabbit.

"明天我有一個(gè)派對(duì)。"兔子低聲的說。

"It's a surprise"

 “太棒啦！”

"Rabbit is hoeing the parsley tomorrow," whispered Owl.

“兔子明天將給芹菜地松土” 貓頭鷹在松鼠耳邊小聲說

"It's a surprise"

 “太棒啦！”

"Rabbit is going to sea tomorrow," whispered Squirrel.

“兔子明天將去海邊” 松鼠在鴨子耳邊小聲說

"It's a surprise"

“哦，是嗎 太棒了”

"Rabbit is clambing a tree tomorrow," whispered Duck.

“兔子明天將要爬樹呢！” 鴨子在老鼠耳邊輕聲說

"It's a surprise"

“哇，太不可思議了~”

“Rabbit is riding a flea tomorrow,” whispered Mouse.

“哦，兔子明天將會(huì)騎跳蚤！” 老鼠在狐貍耳邊輕聲說。

"It's a surprise?"

 “是嗎？”

"Rabbit is raiding the poultry tomorrow,"

“兔子明天將要突襲家禽們！”

whispered Fox.

狐貍小聲對(duì)青蛙說。

"It's a surprise."

 “哦！太厲害了！”

"Reading poetry?"

“朗誦詩歌？”

said Frog to himself.

青蛙自言自語道,

"His own, I suppose. How dull."

“我想應(yīng)該是它自己寫得試吧？那太無聊了!"

The next day Rabbit went to see Frog,

第二天兔子去找青蛙，

"Come with me, Frog," he said.

“跟我來吧，小青蛙”兔子說道.

 “I have a surprise for you.”

 “我給你準(zhǔn)備了一個(gè)驚喜！”

"No, thank you, "said Frog.

“哦，不必了，謝謝”青蛙說.

"I know your poetry. It puts me to sleep."

“我知道你的詩歌朗誦會(huì)~我肯定會(huì)睡著的”

And he hopped away.

說完青蛙跳著離開了.

So Rabbit went to see Fox.

然后兔子去找狐貍,

"Come with me, Fox, "

“跟我來吧狐貍,”

he said “I have a surprise for you.”

兔子說“我給你準(zhǔn)備了一個(gè)驚喜.”

“No, thank you,” said Fox.

“不，謝謝”狐貍說。

“I don't want you raiding the poultry，

“我可不想讓你去突襲家禽們，

I’ll get the blame.”

我得盡到守護(hù)責(zé)任,”

And he ran off.

說完狐貍也跑開了.

So Rabbit went to see Mouse.

沒辦法，兔子只好去找小老鼠,

"Come with me, Mouse,” he said.

“跟我來，小老鼠.”

“I have a surprise for you.”

兔子說：“我有個(gè)驚喜送給你!”

“No, thank you,” said Mouse.

“哦哦不用不用”老鼠連忙說道。

“A rabbit riding a flea?

一只兔子騎在跳蚤上？

Even I am too big for that.”

想想一下像我這個(gè)頭兒比起跳蚤來，簡直都可以稱得上巨大了!”

And Mouse scampered away.

說完老鼠蹦蹦跳跳地跑開了.

So Rabbit went to see Duck.

無奈，兔子只能去見鴨子。

“Come with me, Duck.” he said，

“跟我來吧，小鴨子，

“I have a surprise for you.”

我給你準(zhǔn)備了一個(gè)大大的驚喜！”

“No, thank you,” said Duck.

“不必啦”鴨子說。

“Squirrel told me you were climbing a tree.

“小松鼠已經(jīng)告訴我了，你準(zhǔn)備去爬樹。

Really, you're too old for that sort of thing.”

但是講真，像嘗試爬樹那種新鮮玩意對(duì)你來說，太不適合了，你已經(jīng)老了?！?

And Duck waddled off.

說完鴨子搖搖擺擺地走掉了

So Rabbit went to see Squirrel.

沒辦法兔子只好去找松鼠,

“Come with me, Squirrel,” he said.

“快跟我走松鼠,” 兔子說.

“I have a surprise for you.”

“我有個(gè)大驚喜給你?！?

“No, thank you,” said Squirrel

“不用了”松鼠說,

“I know you're going to sea,

“我知道你打算去海邊度假，

but good-byes make me sad.”

但是我這人最害怕離別?！?

And Squirrel ran up the tree.

還沒說完松鼠一溜煙爬上樹消失了

So Rabbit went to see Owl,

最后兔子去了貓頭鷹那兒

"Owl, "he said,

“貓頭鷹”兔子說.

"I don’t know what YOU think I'm doing, but

“我不管你認(rèn)為我打算做什么，但是...

I'm having a party."

我正打算舉辦一場(chǎng)聚會(huì)！”

And this time everyone heard clearly.

然而這次小伙伴們終于聽清了兔子的話

"A party!" they shouted!

“一場(chǎng)聚會(huì)！” 大家伙驚呼道

"Why didn't you say so?"

“那為什么我從你那聽到的不是關(guān)于聚會(huì)？”

"A party!" How nice!

“哦一場(chǎng)聚會(huì)，太完美了！”

And it was a nice party.

是啊，那的確是一場(chǎng)完美的聚會(huì)；

And such a surprise.

多么驚喜。
